This year, the event will feature annuals, perennials, vegetables and herbs grown by URI Master Gardener volunteers in our greenhouses at East Farm in Kingston. A “Plant of the Year”, chosen for its nativity and value to wildlife, and a “Native Plant System” that incorporates plants that tolerate dry, sunny sites and look beautiful together will be sold while supplies last. Join us to see what we mean!

New to gardening? Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions of our URI Master Gardener volunteers at themed gardening informational kiosks, and have their soil pH tested for free! Click here for instructions on collecting a soil sample for testing.

Proceeds from the annual Spring Plant Sale fund URI Master Gardener Program educational services, including the Gardening and Environmental HotlineSoil pH testing serviceFree statewide gardening workshops, and over 40 demonstration gardens throughout Rhode Island!
