Seekonk Meadows

410 Newman Avenue | Seekonk, MA 02771

Seekonk Meadows is located on 9 acres at the site of the Seekonk Public Library in Seekonk, MA. Formerly the town dump until the 1970’s, it was transformed into Seekonk’s first community gathering space in 2012. It has walking trails, picnic tables, benches and a gazebo for outdoor summer concerts and events.

URI Master Gardener volunteers work with community members to design, establish and maintain sustainable gardens and educate the public. The gardens include the Library Foundation vegetable garden, Sharon’s Memorial garden with perennial and annual plants, a native plant system and xeriscape gardens around the gazebo.
