2023 Update: Meg is a current Nonviolence Trainer at the URI Center for Nonviolence.

2022 Update: Meg joined the URI Political Science Department.

2019 Update: Meg completed a PhD in Political Science at Vanderbilt University.

2012: Level II Kingian Nonviolence trainer. I graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2011 with degrees in Political Science and Spanish. I spent 2011-2012 in Colombia as a Fulbright Fellow, where I co-facilitated Kingian Nonviolence trainings in hiphop communities in five Colombian cities. I then studied a diploma in Governance and Human Rights Studies in Madrid, Spain and worked at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland. Presently, I am studying a M.A. in Political Science at URI, focusing on nonviolent social movements, perceptions of violence, and state-society relations, particularly in Latin America.
