Academic Advising
- Unsure of your advisor? Please contact gradnursing@uri.edu or call 401.874.9711 for additional academic advising assistance.
- Curriculum Sheets are very useful documents, providing you with the roadmap for your graduate degree. Curriculum sheets show whether courses are offered in fall, spring or summer semesters. Some courses may be offered more than once per year; students should contact the Graduate Nursing Office (gradnursing@uri.edu) if they have questions about when specific courses will be offered.
- Program of Study: The purpose of the Program of Study is to ensure that students, at an early stage in their graduate study, organize coherent, individualized plans for their coursework and research activities. Programs of Study (POS) forms can be found above and through the link to Graduate School Forms. Please note that there are different forms for Certificate, Master’s, and Doctoral programs.
- Graduation: Nomination for Graduation forms can be found on the Graduate School Forms webpage. All students must apply for graduation at the start of the semester in which they intend to graduate. Please note that there are different forms for Certificate, Master’s, and Doctoral programs.
- The Graduate School Calendar outlines important dates and deadlines to remember.
