Curriculum

The program requires a minimum of 30 credits, including a Master’s Thesis (6 credits).

Required Courses

NUT 505 Methods in Nutrition Research 3 credits
NUT 553 Nutrient Metabolism I 3 credits
NUT 554 Nutrient Metabolism II 3 credits
NUT 591Seminar in Nutrition, two semesters
1 credit each
At least three credits in 400- or 500-level science courses
Three credits in a 400-or 500-level statistics course

Applicants without undergraduate training in Nutrition may be required to take additional courses that will not contribute to graduate credit. Contact Dr. Melanson to discuss this.
