Model 17: DDI 5 Hepatic and Intestinal Metabolism

model17

The fifth in a series of five models on pharmacokinetic-based drug-drug interactions (DDIs), this model demonstrates the effects of inhibition of both intestinal and hepatic metabolism on the PK of orally administered. It also demonstrates the effect of grapefruit juice on intestinal CYP3A4 and how its effect can be used to estimate Fg.
