The URI Honors Program provides students with the opportunity to take dynamic, interdisciplinary courses developed with them in mind. Students engage in original research alongside faculty who are leaders in their fields and examine emerging trends as they develop their work in both the sciences and humanities. Honors offers smaller class sizes, mentoring and advising across all disciplines. Within Honors are the Pre-Health Professions Advising Office and the Office of National Fellowships who work with students from across campus not just within the Honors Program.
