RI-INBRE Virtual Seminar Series – 2020

Over the summer, RI-INBRE invited the Principal Investigators (PIs) of NIH- sponsored grants in Rhode Island to participate in our inagural Virtual Seminar Series. The program highlighted the state’s NIH Institutional Development Award (IDeA) training programs’ work and recognized their valuable contributions to improving Rhode Island’s biomedical research capacity. The virtual event was the first of its kind in Rhode Island and provided the state’s biomedical community with great networking opportunities.

These PIs represent the prominent group of biomedical and clinical scientists who continually mentor junior faculty and advocate for their career and professional opportunities; however, we don’t have the opportunity to learn about their significant and impactful research.

This weekly forum was possible due to the downturn in research at their institutions and throughout our network during the COVID-19 pandemic. The webinars were held from May 21st through August 13th. Please move down to view the webinars.View the Webinars

Please note: Due to the sensitivity of some of the research that was presented, not all of the seminars were recorded.
