The University of Rhode Island is thrilled to announce a game-changing shift in our bidding process! We are now leveraging the power of the RhodyBuy Bid Portal (Jaggaer) for all bidding opportunities issued by the URI Purchasing Department.

Supplier sourcing guideQuick Tips & Key Information
- RhodyBuy refers to all public bid opportunities (Bid, RFPs, RFIs, etc.) as Sourcing Events.
- All bid documents will be posted on the RhodyBuy Bid Portal (Jaggaer) and they represent the official sources of information for all URI bids issued by the URI Purchasing Department.
- Bid submissions and registration are free of charge.
- Submitting bids via RhodyBuy Bid Portal (Jaggaer) is mandatory. No hard copies will be accepted unless otherwise noted by the URI Purchasing Department.
- Questions must be asked within the bid Q&A panel before the Q&A period expires, as outlined in the bid.
- Deadlines are strictly enforced. Any bid that is not received on time will not be considered.
- Bid Solicitations documents and Award results are posted on the RhodyBuy Bid Portal (Jaggaer) Bid Board, when available.
- For users with an existing URI RhodyBuy Supplier Profile, please use your existing profile to enter any bid submissions.
- New suppliers can register for a RhodyBuy Supplier Profile by following the instructions on our Suppliers page.
- The University of RI has an extensive delegation to solicit and award Public Bids directly, however some large construction projects and contracts may require that they are solicited by the State of RI, Division of Purchases. To view bid solicitations handled by the state please visit their website at: https://ridop.ri.gov/vendors/bidding-opportunities
