Biography

Nicholas Floody is a second year student on track to graduate in 2027. Coming locally from North Kingstown, Rhode Island he is a double Business and Film major. He began his film journey creating short films as a kid, and eventually started a film production company his senior year of high school. Wanting to combine an education focused on both Business and Film he was drawn to the University of Rhode Island.

He plans to use his knowledge and experience with film making to help students create better ways to market and grow their business’ and brands. He was introduced to the Launch Labs through his Intro. To entrepreneurship class, and felt drawn to their message or innovation, creativity, and community. He now helps students with all of their film and audio needs.
