About Jasmine
As a first-generation Latina college student, I wasn’t sure what my experience at URI would be like or how to navigate the transition to college. My professors, mentors, and the student community here showed me how to combine my love of engineering with fashion and helped me succeed on campus and beyond.

What I’m Doing Now

Currently I am a project lead for new products at a globally-renowned jewelry manufacturer.

Favorite Thing About URI

The Multicultural Student Services Center, and having the chance to lead positive change on campus through recruiting and guiding prospective first-generation students to URI with the student organization, D.R.I.V.E. (Diversifying Recruiting Inspiring Volunteering Educating).
