Past Events
Now – December 2023, Quinn Hall: Dressed for Business: A Retrospective Look at the Suit and Beyond (1923 – 2023) exhibit. This exhibit continues the celebration of the College of Business 100th year. Historic textiles and clothing items from the University’s collection will provide a window into the past and allow us to reflect on the many changes that have occurred not only in our university community but the global world beyond in the last century.
October 13, 2023: Fall Career Day & Job & Internship Fair
Fall 2023 – Honors Colloquium; Not Business as Usual: Business for the Common Good. To celebrate the centennial of the College of Business and the 60th anniversary of the annual Honors Colloquium, the University of Rhode Island’s fall 2023 colloquium examines how business activities affect stakeholders, including the natural environment; explore and prompt action to alter the ways we think about production, consumption and business success; and confront major problems in ways that benefit people, the planet, and the bottom line. Events are held most Tuesday evenings at 7pm, Edwards Hall and online. More details are available on the Colloquium website.
April 21st, 2023: World Creativity and Innovation Day. We are celebrating 100 years of transforming lives and launching a second century of impact. Join us and be a part of the narrative.
April 1st, 2023: TEDxURI, The Creative Spark we will be highlighting stories of creativity, innovation, and impact at the College of Business.
March 3rd, 2023: Spring Carer Fair
November 3rd, 2022: Alumni, Retired faculty and staff, Board of Trustees members will gather “under the lights” for a cocktail reception.
October 15th, 2022: Come see us at the COB tent during Rhodyville during Alumni & Family Weekend
October 14th, 2022: Alumni will join us for Career Fair!
