Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design Minor

Curriculum

A total of 18 credits is required for a minor in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design. 

  • At least 9 credits of these credits must be earned at URI.
  • No more than 6 credits in 100-level courses may count towards a minor.
  • 12 credits must be at the 200-level or above.
  • Students must meet all prerequisites for TMD courses as specified in the catalog.
  • TMD majors have priority for enrollment in high-demand classes.
  • A 3-credit TMD internship may be applied to the minor, but please note that these internships are open to non-TMD majors on a space available basis.
