Internships and careers go hand-in-hand, and the College is committed to providing you with opportunities for performance-based internships that provide career-building experiences.
The College of Business is the only URI college with a full-time career advisor available to meet with students and to work with them as they explore careers and put their goals into action.
Kathleen Jackson, Career Advisor, is located at 319 Ballentine Hall. To schedule an appointment, sign up on the sheet outside her office.
In the fall of their junior year, all business majors enroll in a one-credit course that covers key areas of career development and the job search process, including skill identification, goal setting, industry research, review of job search materials, and networking. In addition, students participate in mock interviews, major-specific career workshops, and Alumni Career Days among other career-related opportunities.
