ENRE department to host alumni panel for interested students on Oct. 17

The panel discussion will be held on this Wednesday, October 17th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm in Room 105 of the Beaupre Center. RSVP is required for attendance.

Interested in pursuing a career in environment, sustainability, energy, data, policy or economics? The Department of Environmental and Natural Resource Economics (ENRE) will be hosting an alumni panel for prospective students to learn about ENRE programs and career opportunities post-graduation. The panel will include 14 ENRE program alumni representing a wide range of organizations such as NASA, RI DEM, National Grid, and Orsted. This will be a great opportunity for interested students to hear from established ENRE alumni and learn more about academic offerings through audience-submitted questions.

The event comes after the Department recently launched the Graduate Certificate in Econometrics and Data Analysis to accompany their M.S. and Ph.D. graduate degree programs. At the undergraduate level, ENRE offers two curriculum options or pathways within the major, a double major between ENRE and College of Business (Green Business), and an accelerated Bachelor-Masters (ABM) program as well as multiple minors.
