Integrated Pest Management

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is the use of many integrated tactics to manage pests (any living organism threatening a crop) to an economically acceptable level. IPM is achieved through identifying and monitoring pest problems, treating and then evaluating management techniques. URI Cooperative Extension staff work closely with the Rhode Island Fruit Growers Association, co-hosting annual meetings and events. For meeting information, visit RIFGA meetings
