Parking on campus is free and easy for visitors, however, online registration is required. Here is some important information.

1. Parking is enforced with license plate scanners and not with parking permits. You must register your car with University Parking Services https://uri.aimsparking.com/. Click on the Visitors -> Visitor Permits button and you’ll be able to register your license plate free of charge. The University page with more information is https://web.uri.edu/transportation/parking/visitors/.
2. We recommend parking in the following three lots: (1) Fine Arts Faculty Lot, number 6; (2) Robert J. Higgins Welcome Center Visitor Lot, number 1; (3) Tyler Hall Faculty Lot South of Lot number 9; A detailed parking map can be found here or here.
