Call for undergraduate applicants!

DWELL is participating in the 2024 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) and we’re seeking undergraduate students interested in science communication, digital media, and/or community-based research. Students will create digital materials for DWELL projects like the North Woods Project, the Manissean Tour, and Visualizing Stormwater Infrastructure.

This position is an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic students to engage in innovative research and gain valuable hands-on experience in multidisciplinary projects. No experience with augmented reality is required, and students can expect to gain skills in working with digital media. You can find more detailed descriptions of the projects here: https://web.uri.edu/rinsfepscor/2023/11/15/dwell-lab-using-augmented-reality-for-public-communication-p08/
