The Joint Committee on Online and Distance Learning (JCODL) proposes, examines, and recommends institutional policies and practices for developing, planning, and evaluating online and distance learning with a focus on quality, sustainability, and connection to University missions, with approval of the Faculty Senate and the Provost. Further, JCODL considers faculty training, quality in delivery of online offerings, student learning outcomes and ADA compliance regarding online and distance learning, as well as develops and implements strategic plans for online courses, certificate, and degree programs.
