A team of University of Rhode Island oceanographers will spend more than a month at sea on the R/V Knorr beginning in late October, 2014. The team we be collecting sediment cores from the seafloor in a National Science Foundation funded effort to learn how ancient climate changes can inform scientists about the present changes taking place, and will blog about the experience.
