Step 3: Check Your Room Selection Status in MyHousing
You may be one of the almost 2,500 returning students invited to participate in the Room Selection process, in which case you’ll continue to steps 4 and 5. The pool of students invited to participate in the Room Selection process will be generated first with Rising Sophomores, followed by Rising Juniors/Seniors (in descending order of earned cumulative credits) as space in the Room Selection pool allows.
Being invited to the Room Selection Process does not guarantee you will have a housing assignment. There will be available housing assignments for you, but you must ultimately select a space (see Step 5) to secure a housing assignment.
Additionally, being invited to the Room Selection Process does not guarantee you will have a housing assignment in your preferred location. There will be available housing assignments for you, but preferred locations may fill up before you select a space and you will have to select a different location to secure a housing assignment.
If you are not invited to participate in the Room Selection process, you’ll be added to a waitlist and we’ll try to find you an assignment after Room Selection ends and throughout the summer. However, receiving a housing assignment is not guaranteed for students on the waitlist and we encourage you to consider other housing options.
