Step 1: Do Your Research and Make Tentative Plans
Read the 2024-2025 Housing Agreement, the 2024-2025 HRL Community Policies Addendum, and the 2024-2025 Housing Cancellation Policy. Review the housing options (see chart in Step 5) for Returning Students and the Room Selection process. Things to consider:
- If you take an assignment and later cancel before moving in, there’s a $400 cancellation charge.
- What housing options are available for different group sizes?
- What will you do if some friends are added to the Room Selection process and some are not?
- What will you do if a preferred building/room/type/group size is full before you can select?
