Submit a 2026–2027 Housing Application by the Priority Deadline (February 5, 2026)
- Log in to URI My Apps
- Select URI My Housing
- Select the “Apply for Housing (Undergrad)” tab
- Submit the “2026–2027 Housing Application”
The Returning Student Priority Housing Application will ask you to accept the Housing Agreement, Community Policies Addendum, and Housing Cancellation Policy (found on this page). It will also ask you to submit personal data and emergency contact information.
If you are a Rising Junior/Senior for whom living on campus is essential to your success as a student at URI, you will be able to explain this as part of the application. These detailed requests will be reviewed and approved or denied by a URI campus committee.
If you have a disability or chronic medical condition that requires specific housing accommodations, please contact the Office of Disability, Access and Inclusion by January 30, 2026 to be guaranteed that your housing accommodation(s), as determined by DAI, will be met if you are invited to Room Selection.
Things to Consider Before Applying
- If you select an assignment or allow someone to select an assignment on your behalf and later cancel before moving in, there is a $400 cancellation charge.
- What housing options are available for different group sizes?
- What will you do if some friends are added to the Room Selection process and others are not?
- What will you do if a preferred building, room type, or group size is full before you can select?
