Move-In Guide
Settling In
Below are links and information to some of the most commonly used campus resources, to ensure you are set up for success at URI.
Union Express Mail & Package Center
To avoid delays, make sure your mailing address is listed exactly as shown here:
- Full name
- 50 Lower College Rd.
- Union Express Unit XXXX
- Kingston, RI 02881
(XXXX refers to your assigned unit number, available in your URI My Housing portal)
- Wait for our email before picking up your mail. A “delivered” notice from a shipper only means the item has reached campus, and our staff still needs time to sort and process it.
- Bring your URI ID for easy service.
Amazon Locker Deliveries As an alternative mail option, some students choose to send items to one of several Amazon Locker locations on campus. This service provides extended hours for access as well.
- Choose “Pick up at Amazon Locker” during checkout instead of typing an address.
- Search by locker name or ZIP (Kingston, RI 02881) and confirm the correct location.
- Double-check the locker delivery is selected on the final checkout screen.
- Use your pickup code from Amazon to access your package.
