As we get ready to open our door and welcome students back to campus, we wanted to give you a better understanding of all that URI Campus Recreation has to offer! 

A – Anna Fascitelli

This 2-mile long bike path connects URI’s Kingston Campus to the William C. O’Neill Bike Path creating a 10-mile trail that can take you to Peace Dale, Wakefield, and Narragansett! 

C – Corn Hole

That’s right! Come enjoy a beautiful meditation or yoga session during the full moon on the Quad. You can go to URI events to see when classes are taking place.

I – IMLeagues

Register for intramural sports, fitness classes, or a time to come work out at our facilities!

J – Journaling Wellness Class

A group led creative and reflective journaling with different weekly prompts relating to the different parts of the wellness wheel to promote personal growth, every week.

K – Kan Jam

Did you know that sunlight increases serotonin levels? That’s why we offer plenty of outdoor activities – paddle boarding, kayaking, outdoor fitness classes, intramurals, and events – to name a few!

Offering virtual runs this year!

Just a short 12-minute drive from campus, this campus recreation facility offers paddleboarding, kayaking, and academic sailing classes for students!

T – Tootell Aquatic Center 

Most students don’t even know we have a pool until their Junior year, and that is why we are telling you now! URI’s aquatic center has three pools and offers tons of programming for students including – hydro-fit classes, swim challenges based on bodies of water around the world, paddleboard fitness, and other special events.
