URI Master Gardener Program

The URI Free Seed Program is program is made possible annually through the generous donation of expired, unsold seed packets from Ocean State Job Lot stores throughout the Northeast. 

• We are no longer accepting orders for 2023.

From now through Friday, January 13, 2023 (no exceptions!)

Only non-profit organizations, schools, churches, and community gardens may pick up seed orders (see 2023 Free Seed Program order form for pickup dates). All other orders will be sent by mail for the cost of shipping and handling.

No. Due to a limited supply, seeds are available to Rhode Islanders only.
