Overview
This project would utilize the AUV Sentry to guide exploration in the American Samoa region. AUV Sentry is well suited for operating in challenging terrain to collect high-resolution bathymetry and sidescan sonar mapping data as well as along-track geophysical and chemical data. AUV Sentry would be launched from E/V Nautilus and coupled with other OECI vehicle systems to provide an opportunity to advance the multi-vehicle operational protocol to include a deep-water AUV.
