Ocean Exploration Forum

Overview
The University of Rhode Island (URI) plans to host the next National Ocean Exploration Forum (NOEF) in 2024 as a dynamic and inclusive workshop of ~40-50 people from academia, industry, government, and philanthropic organizations, who will gather to discuss the future of ocean exploration technology. The meeting will focus around new and burgeoning technologies that are available, what are the current gaps in technologies, and where the best investments can likely be made to advance ocean exploration technologies for the benefit of the future of the broader ocean exploration community. A summary report will be drafted and made publicly available outlining the key outcomes of the 3-day workshop.
