Partner scholarships may also be available for eligible URI Online students. - What is the difference between unsubsidized and subsidized federal loans?Subsidized loans are based on financial need and the interest does not accrue while the student is in college. Unsubsidized loans are available to undergraduate and graduate students, and there is no requirement to demonstrate financial need.
