Whether you’re just beginning to consider a career in pharmacy or you’re ready to dive deeper into our Pharm.D. and BSPS programs, the College of Pharmacy offers a variety of engaging opportunities to connect. Join us for in-person info sessions and student-led tours of Avedisian Hall, attend virtual Q&As and student chats, or schedule a one-on-one meeting with our recruitment director. You can also explore our facilities through a virtual tour, hear from alumni during career panels, and learn more about direct entry options. These events are designed to help you discover what makes URI Pharmacy a vibrant and supportive place to launch your journey.
In-Person Info Sessions and Q & A

Join us for an engaging in-person information session that will showcase the URI Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Bachelor of Science (BPS/Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Science) programs, along with a student-led tour of Avedisian Hall. The session will kick off at the Robert J. Higgins Welcome Center, where a knowledgeable representative from the College of Pharmacy will welcome you and lead you across campus to the main event in Avedisian Hall.
Additionally, you have the opportunity to enhance your visit by registering for an optional campus session and tour that is separate from the pharmacy event. Please choose a time that is before the College of Pharmacy session for planning purposes. The group will depart the welcome center promptly at 1:30 pm to walk to Avedisian Hall.

Shadow a PharmD Student (In-Person)
See what it’s like to be a PharmD student at URI College of Pharmacy…..attend a class with a current P3 PharmD student and take a tour of Avedisian Hall! Visiting students will have the opportunity to shadow a Pediatric/Geriatric Pharmacotherapy course with a currently enrolled student during the date/time noted.

For Students Looking to Enter into First Professional Year (P1)
Meet with Anthony Cheng, Admissions and Recruiting Coordinator, to ask your PharmCAS Professional Entry (4 years) questions via Zoom. Sign up today for an informal 30-minute call to discuss and learn more about the admission process and requirements for entry into the URI Pharm.D. program. Appointments are offered Wednesday in the Fall Semester, the appointment schedule is link below.

Virtual Tour
Viewing on a phone? Click here for the best experience Join us for a 25 minute tour of Avedisian Hall. We start with Katelyn, one of our PharmD students, giving a general tour of the building before she hands off to Beth, one of the students in the BSPS program, who shows you around one of our research labs. Instructions: On a computer, use your mouse to rotate the video. On a mobile device, simply move it around and the view will follow where you are looking.
