Curriculum

Our 120-credit four-year Bachelor of Science in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Science program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive and flexible education that prepares you for a successful career in the pharmaceutical sciences. Here’s what you can expect:

  1. General Education (40 Credits):
    Gain a broad foundation in humanities, arts, and sciences, including essential writing, communication, social and behavioral sciences, and STEM requirements.
  2. Basic Science & Mathematics (41–44 Credits):
    Develop a solid grounding in the sciences with courses that fulfill admission requirements for most science graduate programs and health professional schools.
  3. BPS Core Requirements (45 Credits):
    Achieve a strong, applied understanding of biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences through targeted coursework, including:
    • Experiential Learning (6 Credits): Hands-on experience through industry internships and research-based independent study.
    • Personalized Pathways: Tailor your academic program to fit your career goals by substituting up to 12 credits of core requirements with pre-approved professional electives.

Working with your program advisor, you can tailor up to 18 credits of professional electives to align with your specific interests and career path—whether you’re aiming for a career in research, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, or preparing for graduate or professional school.
