  7. How long does it take to become a pharmacist? URI offers an integrated six-year Pharm.D. pathway to become a pharmacist so you can make the most of your time. Start as a freshman, successfully complete your first two years of pre-professional study, and progress directly into the Professional Years of Our Pharm.D. Program.
  8. What if I’m unsure which pharmacy career path is right for me? With so many career options—community, hospital, ambulatory care, research, biotech, public health, and more—our professional advisors and faculty will help you explore your interests and find the perfect fit for your goals.
