All equipment disposals are processed through our facility by completing a work order.
COMPUTERS
After the work order is processed, the computer will be picked up by Astro Movers, brought to the Central Receiving warehouse, and locked in a secure location.
The hard drive will be removed and scanned into a spreadsheet on google drive as well as the device serial number (SN) and the date the device and hard drive were destroyed.
The hard drives are destroyed in Central Receiving’s facility with a hard drive punch operated by the Central Receiving staff.
If you need a copy of the document for proof that your device(s) has been destroyed, please submit that request when you submit the work order and the Central Receiving staff will email you a copy.
