VR/AR and 3D Printing at the MIC

3D Science Visualization at the MIC

Visualization of complex molecules is important for understanding how drugs interact with their targets. At the MIC, we maintain 3D printers for visualizing molecular structures. We also maintain virtual reality headsets for science visualization and education in virtual environments. In conjunction with the URI Information Technology Services Student Technology Assistant (ITS-STA) program, we develop our own VR apps for integration into classroom curricula. Please contact us if you are interested in utilizing our 3D services.
