Funds 100, 401, Others – Non-Federal Per Diem
RI State allowance is a flat rate of $50 per day.
Travel days are reimbursed is based on scheduled departure and arrival times.
First Day departure before noon – $50.00
First Day departure after noon – $25.00
Last Day arrival before noon – $25.00
Last Day arrival after noon – $50.00
Funds 110 & 500 – Federal Per Diem
Domestic travel per diem rates are set by the US GSA. Use the links below to view the set rates.
Domestic Travel – GSATravel days are reimbursed as a percentage based on scheduled departure and arrival times.
First Day departure before 8 am – 100% of rate
First Day departure after 8 am – 75% of rate
Last Day arrival before 5 pm– 75% of rate
Last Day arrival after 5 pm – 100% of rate
International Travel Per Diem
All international travel, regardless of Fund source, is set by the US DOS. Current rates can be found on their website.
International Travel – DOSLodging Per Diem
If a traveler stays with friends or family members in lieu of paying for lodging, the traveler is entitled to lodging per diem.
$25 daily rate – No receipts required.
