Start your URI visit at the Robert J. Higgins Welcome Center, the gateway to the University.

Campus tours begin at the Higgins Welcome Center, the Admission staff have offices here, and visitor parking is available nearby. A comfortable spot to begin and end your campus visit, the Higgins Welcome Center tells the story of URI through a history wall highlighting alumni, student life, and academic programs. Many rooms in the building are also available to members of the University community for meetings and conferences.
