RESEARCH

My research involves studying the effects of waves and turbulence on air-sea fluxes at the ocean surface. This is done using a Large Eddy Simulation (LES) turbulence model to observe the wave boundary layer above waves, and comparing results to laboratory observations taken in a wind-wave tank. I hope to learn more about airflow separation over waves, and characterize the effects of different wind-wave conditions on air-sea momentum flux.
