Health Sciences students from multiple disciplines highlight studies during annual Research Night

Dozens of students from multiple departments in the University of Rhode Island College of Health Sciences showed off their dynamic research projects on various health topics during the college’s annual student Research Night on April 6.

Undergraduate and master’s degree students, as well as Ph.D. candidates from all of the college’s academic programs displayed their research posters in the Memorial Union ballroom and discussed their studies with university and college executives, and with health sciences faculty members who judged their presentations. In 83 presented projects, students studied such diverse topics as autism, diabetes, intimate partner violence, psychological resilience, eye-tracking technology to evaluate reading performance among children, wearable sensors after knee surgery, alcohol and cannabis use, and many more.

  • Undergraduate Category: Zoe Catrambone (Kinesiology)
