Cyber Security Minor
Overview
A minor in Cyber Security provides students with a broad vision of a growing and fast-moving field.
There are many specializations within the domain of information security. This minor introduces students to the most relevant and timely developments and prepares them for a variety of job types and research areas.
The Cyber Security minor can be taken in conjunction with any major by completing the requirements listed below in the URI Catalog under Minor Fields of Study. Typically the minor is started in the fall or spring of a student’s sophomore or junior year. Students who are interested in a minor in cyber security should fill out the Interest Form so that they can join our mailing list to receive information about course offerings.
