Develop a Faculty-Led Program

The World is your Classroom

Facilitating a faculty-led program is a rewarding way to academically engage with students outside of the traditional classroom setting. The experience is transformative for both students and faculty.

Faculty-led programs (FLPs) are academic courses offered off-campus during the Summer, Spring Break, or Winter J Term. Much like the courses you teach on-campus, students will earn academic credit (typically 1-4 credits per program).

The Office of International Education will provide you the support you need throughout the development, preparation and implementation phases. The proposal process contains two phases. Basic information will be required for Phase 1. For programs approved to move to Phase 2, more detailed information regarding site visits, on-site logistical support, detailed itineraries, risk management, and budgets will be required.
