Biography

Sarah is a current student in the Master of Environmental Science and Management Program (MESM), specializing in Environmental Communication.
She received her B.S. in Marine Science, Safety, and Environmental Protection and a Minor in Marine Biology from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, where her senior capstone project focused on coastal bird species distribution in Cape Cod. Previous tutoring experience includes working at MMA’s Academic Resource Center for three years as a Writing Tutor and a member of the Peer Assisted Learning Program.                         

Sarah is currently working on her MESM Major Paper, in which she is writing a science-storytelling style book proposal on raptors, rodenticides, and wildlife rehabilitators. She aims to complete and publish this book after graduation.

Outside of academics, Sarah loves creative writing, reading, and birdwatching.
