On April 4, 2017 members of the “Humanities at Large” Health & Medicine committee Graduate School Associate Dean Andrea Rusnock and English PhD student Kara Watts presented the committee’s proposal for a Health-Humanities Think Lab at the URI Big Ideas in Health Conference. The conference is hosted by the Academic Health Collaborative and provides an occasion for URI faculty and students to learn about the university’s innovations in health and make cross-departmental connections for collaboration on new initiatives. Rusnock and Watts shared the proposal in the form of a poster in the conference’s poster session.
