URI College of Pharmacy’s 12-credit online Medication Outcomes Graduate Certificate offers a convenient option for professionals to advance their ability to identify and measure the relationship between medication therapies and the outcomes that occur in real-world environments.

Admission Criteria
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required for regular admission. Applicants with a GPA lower than 3.0 may be considered for provisional admission — please contact online@uri.edu before applying to discuss the GPA requirement.
- Personal statement (see details below).
- GRE is not required.
Supporting Admission Documents
- A personal statement that includes:
- How you utilize data in your current profession and what you want to achieve by obtaining the Graduate Certificate in Medication Outcomes at URI
- What the gaps are you aim to fill in your education and/or profession with this certificate
- How you see this certificate helping you meet your future professional and/or educational goals
- Which course you are most looking forward to taking and why
- CV/Resume
- Two letters of recommendation (previous employers, supervisors, mentors, colleagues, instructors or others who can comment on your ability to complete graduate-level coursework; personal references such as friends and relatives will not be accepted).
- College transcripts from all institutions attended.
- Any additional evidence of relevant professional or non-credit bearing courses that you may have taken.
