In another win for pharmacy practice, the DHHS issued guidance under an amendment to the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act to permit all state-licensed pharmacists and pharmacy interns under the supervision of pharmacists the ability to administer any vaccine on the ACIP-approved vaccine schedule to people ages 3-18 during the public health emergency.  This went into effect on August 24, 2020.
