Careers
Graduates of URI’s pharmacy program have enjoyed success as business people, pharmacy professionals, researchers, and academicians. Two URI alumni, Joseph Mollica 62 , former chairman of Dupont Merck Pharmaceutical Co., and Ernest Mario 66, cochairman and CEO of Alza Corporation and former cochairman and CEO of Glaxo Ltd., were the only pharmacy graduates in the country to head up Fortune 500 companies.
Pharm.D. Exploration Center
A free platform providing resources for exploring the opportunities that a career in Pharmacy provides. It houses an extensive and growing library of URI Pharmacy alumni interviews along with other career exploration resources.
Registration is required to access content, information collected will not be shared outside of The University of Rhode Island.
