Marketing Student Team Forms Agency, Takes First Place in National Competition for Acura
Our last newsletter issue featured a team of marketing students who created a marketing agency, Vital Innovative Promotions (“V.I.P.”) for a social media campaign targeting millennials to promote the American Honda Motor Group’s Acura ILX sports car. After presenting their campaign and results in November, URI’s team became one of three finalists, and five of the V.I.P. leaders flew to California to deliver a 20-minute marketing presentation to the management team of judges. We are proud to report that their winning vote was unanimous.
