Women’s Rugby

If you are new to URI and looking for a club to get involved in, or you played sports in high school and miss the atmosphere and camaraderie only a sports team can provide, come join the women’s rugby team. We work hard every year and consistently make the league playoffs, with the ultimate goal of making it to Nationals. Everyone is welcome at anytime, and you don’t need prior rugby experience to join—in fact, most of our team had never played rugby before coming to URI. The team prides itself on hard work and dedication to the sport, offering big benefits to our players both on and off the pitch.
