AQUATICSBIRTHDAY PARTY SUPERVISOROrganizes the birthday parties scheduled through the TAC. Coordinating party details, staffing, food, party goods, favors, as well as confirming parties with patrons.
AQUATICSBIRTHDAY PARTY FACILITATOROversees the birthday parties at the TAC. This includes the set-up and break-down of the party, supervision of children, assisting the parents in running of games and activities and enforcing facility policies.
AQUATICSDECKHANDEnsures the smooth and safe operation of the swim lesson program during Learn-to-Swim times. Assists in enforcing facility and Learn-To-Swim policies.
AQUATICSLEARN-TO-SWIM SUPERVISORAssists the Aquatics Specialist in ensuring the smooth operation of the swim lesson programs. Must be knowledgeable of swim levels, schedules, and policies of the TAC. The LTS Supervisor will assist the Aquatic Specialist as needed with staff and programming events.
AQUATICSLIFEGUARDResponsible for the safety of both themselves and the patrons using the facility. This includes effective scanning from the elevated chair, enforcing all rules and regulations, and providing helpful customer service to patrons.
AQUATICSLIFEGUARD INSTRUCTORInstruct Lifeguard classes to the enrolled students in our TAC Lifeguard Courses. Responsible for providing high-quality instruction, providing necessary reports and managing/the setup of the equipment needed to conduct the course.
AQUATICSOFFICE ASSISTANTAssists the Coordinator of Aquatics or Aquatics Specialist in the administration of programs through clerical duties. This includes completing all the necessary paperwork, answering phones, assisting in staff scheduling, finding substitutes for employees, and more.
AQUATICSID SCANNING STATION ATTENDANTThe primary responsibility is to monitor all individuals entering the Tootell Aquatic Center. Enforces membership policies on the pool deck.
AQUATICSWATER SAFETY INSTRUCTORTeach the appropriate swimming skills according to the American Red Cross Swimming program and to maintain a safe environment for the students.
CLUB SPORTSGAME MANAGERThis is an entry-level student position within the Department of Campus Recreation. In this position, you will be required to provide superior customer service, handle cash, operate scoreboards, complete scoresheets, and perform other game/event-related tasks. This position will report to the Program Assistant for Event Management and/or the Home Events Supervisor.
INTRAMURAL SPORTSSPORTS OFFICIALSAttends all required meetings and training. Officiate and judge a variety of intramural sports, games, activities and competitions. Enforces applicable activities rules and assess penalties when necessary.
INTRAMURAL SPORTSGAME MANAGERAssist in overseeing intramural sports activities. Knowledgeable of Intramural Sports activity rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Serves as a primary customer service representative at the activity site. Check participants’ identification/eligibility and keeping score of games and/or activities. Maintaining First Aid and CPR certifications and be willing to serve as a “first responder” in injury situations. (We will help you obtain this certification, as part of employment)

FITNESS & WELLNESSWELL-BEING COACHESWell-being Coaches meet one-on-one with students to identify strengths and provide support with a goal or behavior change. Coaches take a holistic approach, focusing on overall well-being. Areas of support may include stress management, time management, lifestyle changes, self-care, campus resources, & more. Students can sign up for coaching sessions on Starfish for Free.
MARKETINGPHOTOGRAPHERManipulate photos, video editing for website, social media posts and presentations. Assist with the creation of unique content to support our health & well-being mission. Must have a working familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite products.
MARKETINGSOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATORresponsible for attending Campus Rec events. Creating social media content for all platforms. Weekend hours, flexible hours.
FACILITIES/MEMBERSHIPRECWELL ATTENDANTThe RecWell staff is responsible for various areas of our campus recreation facilities to assist in daily operations; including programs, equipment check-out, and membership services.
FACILITIES/MEMBERSHIPRECWELL SUPERVISORSupervisors provide direct oversight of the RecWell Attendants on duty and facilitate the smooth operation of the Anna Fascitelli Fitness & Wellness Center/Mackal-Tootell Complex. Supervisors are to be knowledgeable of and able to enforce all policies/procedures as it relates to managing student staff, while also understanding and enforcing all building specific policies, procedures, and operations.
FACILITIES/MEMBERSHIPRECWELL PROGRAM ASSISTANTProgram Assistant is the highest student leadership role in the Department of Campus Recreation.This position will work with the Graduate Assistant and Full-time Facility Operations & Membership Coordinator to help plan, create and implement staff trainings. The Program Assistant aids in the management of student staff including: fostering a team atmosphere, oversight of daily operations, scheduling, and evaluation of RecWell Staff.
