The Engineering for Democracy Institute is, at its core, a team of engineers and STEM professionals working to support election planning and operations nationwide through direct collaboration with election officials. This unique perspective enables EDI to address a broad range of issues across voting types — in-person, vote-by-mail, and post-election — and to develop tools and technology, as well as training at various levels. To grow and maintain these services for election officials, we also have team members who assist with administration, communication, and community outreach.
