Student Teaching Internships

The Student Teaching semester is the culminating experience for HPE majors, and gives students an opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned during their professional academic preparation. The student teaching experience is a critical part of the preparation of professional teachers. It serves as a bridge between academic preparation and the first full year as a teacher.

To qualify for this internship you must have a minimum GPA of 2.75. There are course and certification test requirements that need to be fulfilled prior to starting the internship experience.
